Harold L. Rives III, CPA

Hal has been providing financial consulting services for over 35 years. After serving as an officer in the US Navy, Hal became a CPA, providing individuals and businesses with tax, audit and management consulting services. Following this experience, he moved on to CIGNA, where he helped design their financial planning models, and then to Advest, where he was responsible for all financial product lines. In 1991 Hal co-founded The New England Guild with Dick Thalheimer with the concept of an organization of professionals with multi-dimensional expertise that could comprehensively serve the needs of individuals. Hal has been active in community and church affairs, particularly with the St. John's Episcopal Church in West Hartford. He is a member or officer of several Boards including New Britain Museum of American Art, Connecticut Health Foundation, Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Voce. Hal received his BBA from Texas Tech University.
