Eliot Williams

Eliot P. Williams, CFA

Eliot spent 24 years at the Travelers Insurance Company, where he held senior management positions with responsibilities for equity and fixed income research, portfolio management and asset allocation strategy. Following his career at The Travelers, he became Chief Investment Officer of CS First Boston Investment Management. Eliot is actively involved in professional education at the national level and has spoken widely on the topics of setting investment objectives and asset allocation. He is a founding governor of the CFA Institute, which confers the CFA designation, is a past trustee of the ICFA Foundation and is currently a member of the CFA Digest Editorial Review Board. Eliot is a past trustee and chair of the American Red Cross Retirement System. He currently serves on the boards of the University of Hartford, the Hartford Seminary, and the Plowshares Institute. He is also an active member of the First Church in Windsor and a hospice volunteer. Eliot received his BA from Haverford College and MBA from the University of Virginia.
